Millikin Eliminated from NCAA Tournament

In a game that saw its saw delayed for over three hours by rain, the Millikin baseball team was eliminated from the NCAA DIII Baseball Decatur Regional Tournament losing 2-1 to Wartburg College on May 16 in Decatur, Illinois at the Workman Family Baseball Field.
 
Millikin finishes the season with a record of 35-10.
 
Wartburg jumped out to the lead in the first inning. Griffin Troha led off the game with a walk and later scored on a single by Andrew Robinson.
 
Millikin tied the game in the second inning when Gage Reynolds drove home Sam Bushur.
 
Keegan Schmitt drove home the game winner in the seventh with a base hit scoring Tanner Jackson.
 
Wartburg's winning pitcher Emerson Alberhasky pitched six innings allowing just five hits and one run while striking out 10. Miles Mudd pitched one and two-thirds an inning of score less relief. Conner Funk earned his seventh save of the season.
