Normal, IL – Millikin University Women's Golf was in action on Saturday, taking part in opening round action of the IWU Fall Classic. After round one, the Big Blue are 9^th with a score of 314.
 
Despite battling through windy rainy conditions, Millikin's 314 is the second lowest round in the program's history. Ava Hackman led Millikin through day one with a one over par 73, tying her for eighth place individually. Lindsay Jackson was tied for 12^th with a 74 (+2), and Zoey Beard was tied for 68^th after shooting an 82 (+10). Jaryn Haarmann's 85 (+13) tied her for 90^th in the field, and Ruby Haegen fired an 87 (+15), tying her for 101^st. Rounding out the scoring team, Hailey Homann was tied for 111^th after day one after shooting a 90 (+18)
 
Playing as the individual, Madelyn Beck was tied for 111^th after scoring a 90 (+18), and Maddie Bradbury was tied for 127^th with a 97 (+25).
 
Millikin is back in action tomorrow as they close out the tournament in Normal.
