Franklin, IN – The Big Blue showed no signs of being slowed down by the trip east, cruising to a 6-0 victory over Franklin College at Faught Stadium on Wednesday evening. The victory marks Millikin's third straight win and extends its unbeaten streak to five games, improving the Big Blue to 4-3-1 on the season. While Franklin falls to 0-6-2.
Senior
Olav Kaldahl opened the scoring in the 18th minute, finding the back of the net for his fourth goal of the season after receiving a well-timed pass from
Kyle Grasse. Kaldahl found himself involved yet again at the 20:52 mark, setting up
Luke Butler for his second goal of the season to give Millikin a 2-0 advantage.
Following halftime, Grasse found
Matthew Hart for the Big Blue's third score of the game, the goal was Hart's third of the season. In the 67th minute, a foul by the Grizzlies paved the way for Millikin's fourth goal of the night, courtesy of
Kyle Grasse, his first of the season, extending the lead to 4-0.

Bryce Davis sent a cross toward
Luca Lopez that was blocked by Franklin and into the path of
Robert Sambou, who tapped it past the Goalkeeper for his first goal of 2026, putting the Blue & White ahead 5-0. With 18:03 remaining in the contest, Davis delivered a corner kick into the box, where
Eithan Shay leaped up and headed the ball straight into the net for his first goal of the season.
"We played a complete game today, our goals came from all across the team today," said Head Coach
Charlie Ward. "Today's performance improves our unbeaten streak to five games; we look to carry that momentum into conference play on Saturday and beyond."
The Big Blue will open CCIW play on Saturday, September 26, traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin to take on the Firebirds of Carthage College. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on the CCIW Network.
