Person You Admire Most, Why?: My mom. She has dealt with the loss of her mom and two brothers, and has taken care of my elderly grandfather, all while still cooking, cleaning, and going to all of her daughters’ sports games. She is the smartest, kindest, most amazing woman I know and when I am older I want to follow in her footsteps and be just like her. If I turn out to be half the woman my mother is, my life would be complete.
Individual Goals: Be a Freshman starter on Varsity, have a .350 batting average, be top 2-3 on team in stolen bases, throw at least 5 runners out at different bases from the outfield.
Future Plans: After I graduate, move to an apartment in downtown Chicago and make my way onto a news station downtown or elsewhere where I can pursue my goal of being a Sports Reporter. My dream job would be to be a broadcaster on ESPN.
Why you chose Millikin: It was not only a very good school academically, but it allowed me to continue playing not only one, but the two sports (softball and volleyball) that I love for another four years of my life.

My favorite thing about this team is: We are all so easy to get along with, everyone can count on everyone when they need it, and it doesn’t matter what year in school you are because we are one big family.
Newspaper headlines will say this about Millikin Softball this year: Millikin is the team to beat this year, they have great chemistry on and off the field and their players mesh together very well. New Coach Amber Dohlman should be very proud of what the girls have to offer. Millikin Softball wins the CCIW conference and Conference Championship and is now playing for the NCAA DIII National Championship.
