Jalen Harrington joined the Millikin staff in 2024 as the Defensive Line coach and the Co- Special Teams Coordinator.
Harrington is a native of Louisville, Ky where he played at Fern Creek High School and was All-District on defense three years as well as on offense two years. He was the district Player of the Year his senior year as well as winning an award for best Two-way Player in the Region that season.
Harrington began his collegiate career at the University of Louisville where he played two seasons and was a member of the 2013 Sugar Bowl Championship team where he was Louisville’s Special Teams MVP. He finished his playing career at Murray State University.
Prior to joining the Millikin staff, Harrington spent one year at Keystone College as the Defensive Line Coach where he coached the first All-Conference defensive linemen in the program. Harrington assisted with coaching on Kickoff Return, Field Goal, Field Goal Block & the Punt units.
Prior to taking the job at Keystone College, Harrington spent six years at the high-school level in Louisville, Ky. Three of those being as a head coach and two as a defensive coordinator.
Harrington received his bachelor’s degree in Advertising as well as a minors in Sports Communication and Physical Education from Murray State and received his Masters of Teaching in Learning Behaviors & Disorders from the University of Cumberlands.
Harrington has one daughter, Raelynn Harrington who is 7.
