Phillip Guel

Phillip Guel joined the Millikin staff in 2023 serving as the Big Blue’s wide receivers coach.
 
Guel came to the Big Blue staff after coaching for one season at Iowa Wesleyan University. Guel gained experience on both sides of the football coaching linebackers, running backs and tight ends at Iowa Wesleyan. He coached an All-Conference running back in 2022.
 
Guel graduated from Iowa Wesleyan with a degree in Exercise Science and Wellness in 2021. During his collegiate playing career, Guel was a linebacker at Iowa Wesleyan from 2018-21.
 
Guel is currently enrolled in the Master of Sport Administration program at Upper Iowa University.
