Robert Nichols

Robert Nichols joined the Millikin staff in February 2016 and served two seasons as the Big Blue’s Defensive Backs Coach.  In 2018, Nichols moved to the offense coaching the wide receivers.
 
Prior to coming to Millikin, Nichols spent three years as an assistant coach at Carroll University coaching the Pioneers defensive backs.  Nichols coached at Joliet West High School from 2009-2011 serving as Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Back Coach.
 
Nichols played collegiately at Missouri State University and the University of Dubuque where he was a two year starter.
 
Nichols earned his Bachelor of Science in Health, Wellness and Recreation from the University of Dubuque in 2009.  He is currently completing his master’s degree at Carroll University.
 
In addition to his football coaching experience, Nichols was worked as a Speed Enhancement Coach and a Strength and Conditioning Coach.  He also served as a Team Group Leader\Badges for Baseball Coordinator for the COA Cal Ripken, Jr. Basketball League’s Badges for Baseball Program in Milwaukee.
