Tim Connell

Timothy Connell joined the Millikin staff as the Quarterbacks Coach for the 2011 season. In 2012, Connell became Millikin's Offensive Coordinator.

Prior to joining the Millikin staff, Connell was the Defensive Secondary Coach at Southwest Minnesota State University. Connell spent two seasons as Wide Receivers Coach at the University of Redlands and has twice served on the staff at Central College in Iowa.

As a player, Connell was a standout quarterback for Central College. In 2007, he was the Iowa Conference Most Valuable Player and named to the All-Conference First Team. Connell was D3football.com’s All West Region Quarterback and received Honorable Mention All-American Honors from D3football.com. Connell holds a number of Central passing records including passing yards in a season (3,084), passing yards in a career (6,181), touchdown passes in a season (35).

Connell, his wife Kirby and son Noah, live in Decatur.
