Millikin Athletics

Emme Howell will enter her first year as an Athletic Trainer at Millikin University in the fall of 2026. Howell joined the Big Blue staff in August of 2026.

Howell comes to Millikin after graduating from the University of Illinois-Springfield in 2026. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from UIS, and was a three-year gameday worker for the Prarie Stars.

Howell attended Spoon River College for three years. She graduated in 2021 with associate's degrees in art and science. She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Illinois-Springfield in 2024, going on to earn her master's in athletic training in 2026.

Howell is BLS and BOC certified, and she is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Illinois.

A native of Browning, Illinois, Howell is a lifelong New Orleans Saints fan. She credits her Saints fandom to her mom, and is grateful for all of the support her family and boyfriend provide her. She resides with her two pets, Socks and Bitty Boo.
