Millikin Athletics

Mia deJesus will enter her 1st year as a Sports Information Intern at Millikin University in the fall of 2026. She joined the Big Blue in July of 2026.

deJesus comes to Millikin having graduated from Greenville University in May of 2026. A four-year two-sport letterwinner, she was a member of the Panthers women's volleyball and women's basketball programs. deJesus was named all-academic in both sports, and earned two SLIAC All-Tournament team honors, including being named the 2025 SLAIC Volleyball Tournament MVP.

She spent one year working in student life, designing and distributing promotions, working with university staff to enhance course materials, and supervising fellow student workers on campus. She also spent one year volunteering with the sports information department, working both as a photographer and as a staff writer. Throughout her time at Greenville, deJesus also worked as a coach and an official with the Summer Panther Academy, where she assisted with camp scheduling, and daily operations.

deJesus graduated from Greenville with her Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management.

A native of Champaign, Illinois, Mia resides in Decatur.
