Malik Wildermuth

Malik Wildermuth joined the Millikin Athletics staff in August 2019 as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach.

Prior to Millikin, Wildermuth spent the 2018-19 season at Illinois College, where he was an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. In his time at Illinois College, the Blue Boys went 9-16 on the year, going 7-11 in Midwest Conference play, which is the most wins the program has seen since the 2013-14 season. 

Wildermuth attended Carl Sandburg College where he earned his Associate's degree and played basketball before transferring to Central College in Pella, Iowa. At Central, Wildermuth was a member of the Varsity Men's Basketball team, earning Second Team All-Conference honors in 2018. Malik was also named the team's Defensive MVP in 2017 and 2018, and were IIAC Conference Championship Runners Up in both seasons. Malik currently holds a school record at Central for most steals in a game with eight steals against Faith Baptist in 2017. His senior year, Malik averaged 15.4 points per game and led the team in rebounds and assists in 2018. 

In high school, Wildermuth played varsity for University High School in Normal, Illinois and was named Pantagraph Second Team All-Area and was named to the All-Corn Belt Conference Team in 2014. 

Malik graduated in 2018 earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Central College.
