Nathan Kohler

Nathan Kohler joined the Big Blue staff in 2015 as an assistant men’s basketball coach.  Prior to coming to Millikin, Kohler worked as an assistant coach with the Illinois College men’s basketball team in 2014-2015.
 
“We are thrilled to welcome Nate Kohler to Millikin University and Millikin Basketball,” said Millikin Head Coach Matt Nadelhoffer.  “Nate is a great fit for our staff and is someone our current Big Blue players will connect with both on and off the floor.”
 
Kohler was a four year starter and varsity men’s basketball letter winner at Illinois College. He was an All-Midwest Conference Second Team selection in 2010-11 and 2012-13, as well as receiving All-Midwest Conference Honorable Mention in 2013-14. He ranks as the school’s eighth all-time leading scorer with 1,306 points and has made the most three-point field goals (168) in the history of Illinois College basketball.  
 
Kohler earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology-Exercise Science from Illinois College.
