Ben Kuxmann

Former Millikin standout Ben Kuxmann joined the Big Blue coaching staff in August 2022 as a part-time assistant coach with the cross country and track and field programs.
 
Kuxmann was a three-time All-American for the Big Blue in track and field. In 2022, he finished in second place in the 800 Meters at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He was third in the 800 at the 2022 Indoor Championships and the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Meet. Kuxmann hold the Millikin and CCIW record in the 800 Meters Outdoors in 1:49.19. He holds Millikin’s 1500 Meter school record at 3:53.73 and ran a leg on the record setting 4x400 Relay Team. He holds Indoor Track school records in the 600 Meters, 800 Meters, 1 Mile Run and Distance Medley Relay. He was the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Champion in the 800 Indoors and 800 and 1500 Outdoors in 2022.
 
Kuxmann was named to the 2021-22 Academic All-America® First Team for Men's Track & Field/Cross Country, selected by CoSIDA. He was a Second Team selection in 2021-22. He graduated from Millikin in May 2022 with a degree in English.
