Men's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach

Gabe Lock has been a volunteer coach with the Millikin men's soccer team since August of 2015. Lock previously helped out with the women's soccer program at MU from 2013-14, and his coaching resume includes positions with the Central Illinois Soccer Acaemy, East Moline-Silvis Soccer Club, and United Township High School.

Lock has helped provide immediate feedback to goalkeepers during games, and has helped scout potential recruits throughout the region in his tenure with the Big Blue. Goalkeepers with the squad received All-Conference honors during the 2015 and 2018 seasons, and the Big Blue men's soccer team has been regionally ranked during the 2015, 2016, and 2018 seasons. He directly coached Daniel Sinclair, an All-Region player and two-time CCIW All-Conference Recipient, Isaac Hopper who received First-Team All-Conference honors, and Jon Kuebler who broke Millikin's single season saves record during the 2021 campaign.

Lock is USC Certified with both Level I and Level II Goalkeeper Diplomas, and has his National D License from the United States Soccer Federation. A graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, Lock also is the founder and owner of Indigo Elephant, LLC and Indigo Sports Cards.
