Assistant Swimming & Triathlon Coach

Aaron Points has coached at the Peoria YMCA since 1994. During that time, he has also coached various Peoria area high school teams for a total of 15 seasons. He was formerly the Assistant Strength Coach and coached the Sprint groups for Bradley University's Men's and Women's Swim teams.

Coach Points also swam competitively for over 20 years at all levels from Summer League, AAU, YMCA, IHSA and Collegiately at the Division 1 level. Swimming for Peoria Richwoods and Peoria YMCA, Points was named the Illinois YMCA State Male Swimming Athlete of the Year in 1989. He earned National YMCA Male swimmer of the year honors the same season. Aaron went on to swim collegiately for Bradley University, where he was a member of team records in the 200- and 400-yard medley relays. He was a co-captain of the team for the 1994 season.

Coach Points is active in all levels of learn to swim and competitive swimming, and is an excellent clinician, and stroke technician. He brings incredible experience, enthusiasm and knowledge to the pool deck.
