Consuelo Michel

Consuelo Michel joined the Millikin women's soccer coaching staff in May 2025 as the assistant coach.

A graduate of Mount Marty University with a degree in Exercise Science. Michel played one year of soccer at Grossmont College in San Diego, then her final three seasons at Mount Marty in Yankton, S.D. During her career, Michel received Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) honorable mention honors as a goalkeeper for the Lancers.

Following graduation, Michel served as Men’s / Women’s assistant coach at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. During her season with the program, the men’s side won the Region XI Tournament and qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II national tournament in 2021. Goalkeepers were named Player of the Week in the conference on four occasions, and one was named an All-Region keeper. On the women's side, the team finished their season in the Region XI Semifinals. 
 
After a successful season at SCC, Michel went on to coach at the University of Minnesota, Morris for these past three years as Men's Soccer Asst. Coach and Women's Tennis Head Coach.
