Kate McARthur

Kate McArthur

       Kate McArthur was named the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Millikin University in July 2014.  The Big Blue have improved each season under McArthur's leadership including going 8-8-1 in 2016.
          Prior to coming to Millikin, McArthur spent three seasons at Waldorf College in Iowa serving as associate head coach.  While at Waldorf, McArthur was involved in all aspects of coaching including practice planning, game strategy, scouting and recruiting. 
          McArthur has served as an assistant coach at Bemidji State University in Minnesota.  She has club coaching experience with the Valley Soccer Academy in West Virginia.
          McArthur played collegiately at Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia where she earned All-Conference honors three times and was named the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year in 2005.
          McArthur earned a Master of Science in Sport Studies from Bemidji State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Davis and Elkins.
          McArthur holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a NSCAA Goalkeeper 1 and 2 License.
          Kate has been a part of multiple summer soccer camp staffs including the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy for the last three years.
          Coach Kate has a deep passion for coaching and human development. The Women's Soccer Big Blue motto is "We Seek Excellence. We Live Goodness."
           In Coach Kate's words, "We want our program to be one of high competition, meaningful relationships, and overall illuminating goodness around us."
