Carrol Whitehouse will enter his 5th year as an assistant coach with the Millikin University Track and Field programs in the fall of 2026. Whitehouse joined the Millikin track and field staff in August 2022 as a part-time coach working with pole vaulters, high jumpers and multis event athletes. He was promoted to a full-time assistant coach in August 2023.
In 2023-24, Whitehouse coached freshman Kyle Hensley to a National Championships in the Pole Vault at the NCAA Indoor Meet and a second place finish at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships. Hensley won two College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championships in the Pole Vault as well. High Jumper Thomas Hills was the CCIW Champion at at the conference's indoor meet.

Prior to coming to Millikin, Whitehouse was an Assistant Coach at Mahomet Seymour High School for 12 years. In that time, he coached five individual state champions, numerous all-state honorees, and won three team trophies.
A career public servant, Whitehouse spent 25 years serving in the fire service. After beginning as a volunteer with the Fulton Fire Department in Missouri, he became full-time, and went on to serve for 22 years in the Champaign Fire Department.

Whitehouse graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1991, earning a Bachelor's of Arts in Public Administration and Sociology.

A native of Supulpa, Oklahoma, Carrol resides in Mahomet with his wife of 30 years, Nancy. They have three children, Lauren, Callan, and Ryan.
