Lyndsay Kooi

Lyndsay Kooi joined the Millikin staff in March of 2017 serving as an assistant coach with the Big Blue volleyball program.
 
Kooi came to Millikin after serving as graduate assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.  Kooi was part of a staff that led the Pointers to a 27-9 record in 2015 and a 27-7 record in 2016.  In 2015 Kooi helped guide Stevens Point to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
Prior to Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Kooi was a high school teacher and assistant volleyball and track coach at Rochelle Township High School.
 
Kooi was a four year starter at Quincy University and ranked fourth in school history in career assists.  She earned GLVC Academic All-Conference honors four times during her playing career.
 
Kooi earned a Bachelor of Science in Teaching:  Physical Education from Quincy University and earned a Master’s of Science in Teaching:  Health Education from Northern Illinois University.
