Millikin Athletics

DaJuan Johnson '11 will enter his 1st season as an Assistant Flag Football Coach in the spring of 2027. Johnson serves as the Defensive Coordinator for the Big Blue, and joined the program in 2026.

Johnson makes his return to Millikin as a part of first-year head coach Joan Catanese's inaugural staff. He originally began his coaching career with Millikin's football program in the spring of 2010, going on to join the coaching staff at Southeast High School in Springfield, Illinois ahead of the 2012 season. After multiple assistant coaching positions at Southeast, he was named the Head Football Coach at Eisenhower High School in Decatur in 2021, leading the program to their first win since the 2017 season.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Johnson earned his Associate of Applied Science from Joliet Junior College in 2008, going on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Sports from Millikin 2011, and his Master in Science in Organizational Leadership in 2021 from Northcentral University in 2021.
