Kyle Petering will enter his second season as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach in fall of 2026. He joined the Big Blue men's soccer program in August of 2025.
In 2025, the Big Blue collected a record of 6-10-1, with a 2-5-1 spot in the CCIW. Bryce Davis and Landon Welch were each named to the All-CCIW second team.
Prior to Millikin, Petering served as the Head Men's Club Soccer Coach at Wright State University for two seasons. Before his time at Wright State, he completed a three-year stint with the Shaler Area Schools. He completed two seasons as the middle school boys head coach in 2022 and 2023, after one season as the high school assistant on the girls side in 2021.
Petering is also an active professional cornhole player. Playing since 2020, he is currently a member of the American Cornhole League.
He graduated from Wright State University in 2019 with his Bachelor's of Science in Marketing. In 2022, Petering earned his Master's of Science in Sports Management from West Virginia University.
