Sarah Rapp '17, will enter her 9th year as Head Cheerleading Coach at Millikin University in the fall of 2026. Rapp returned to Millikin in 2018.

Rapp's return came after a one-year stint as an Assistant Cheerleading Coach during 2017-18 season.

Since taking over the program, Rapp has led Big Blue Cheer to three top-five finishes at NCA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida.

In 2026, Millikin placed on the podium for the first time in program history. The Big Blue scored a 3rd place finish in the Division II Large Coed Winner's Circle. Millikin also attended The College Classic, placing 5th and 6th in Group Stunt.

2025 and 2024 saw Millikin place in the top five of the Large Coed Division III division.

Rapp graduated from Millikin University in 2017, earning her bachelor's in chemistry. She went on to earn her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018, and most recently earned a graduate certificate from Harvard University in 2025.

A native of Gridley, Illinois, Sarah works full-time with a fortune 50 insurance company as a relationship manager. She resides in Bloomington with her son, Kane and great pyrenees, Eli.
