Millikin Volleyball Opens CCIW Play with Win

The #21 Millikin volleyball team opened play in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) with a 3-0 win at North Park University in Chicago on September 30. Mililkin is now 18-3, 1-0 on the season and was ranked 21st in NCAA Division III in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll released earlier in the day.

Millikin won 25-9, 25-10, 25-15. Millikin senior Audrey Krajec led the Big Blue with 17 kills and a .433 hitting percentage. Earlier today, Krajec was named the CCIW Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Freshman Erin Syversen had seven kills, six digs and four service aces with a .500 attack percentage.

Monalisa Fasavalu led the Vikings with five kills and seven digs.

Millikin will play at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin on October 7 at 7 p.m.
