Big Blue Swimmers Drop Dual Meet

  The Millikin University men's and women's swimming team lost a dual meet to Illinois Wesleyan University on January 23 at McIntosh Pool in Decatur, Illinois. The Titans won the men's event 114-48 and took the women's competition 101-75.
          Sami Battle and Shelby Kobs were double event winners for the Big Blue women. Battle won the 50 Yard Freestyle in 24.89 seconds and the 100 Yard Freestyle in 54.65 seconds. Kobs won the 200 Yard Individual Medley 2:23.95 and the 100 Yard Breaststroke in 1:13.03.
          In the men's competition, Millikin's Spencer McGowan won the 50 Yard Freestyle in 23.80 seconds.
          The Big Blue's Jeremy Baehler won the 500 Yard Freestyle in 5:07.88.
          Meg Stanley and Sam Kim were double event winners for the Titans.
          Millikin will be back in action on Saturday, January 24 at the Principia College Invite.
