Big Blue Fall at #17 Illinois Wesleyan

          The Millikin football team lost at #17 Illinois Wesleyan 54-13 on October 10 in Bloomington, Illinois.
          The Titans controlled the entire game jumping out a 14-0 first quarter lead and building a 35-13 advantage by halftime.
          Illinois Wesleyan had 496 yards in total offense while holding the Big Blue to just 139 yards of offense.
          All of Millikin's points came in the first half.  Chayce Volpert hit on a 50 yard field goal late in the first quarter and then connected from 32 yards out in the second quarter to get the Big Blue on the scoreboard.  Millikin's Andre Colvin scored a one yard touchdown run with 2:20 left in the first half.
          Illinois Wesleyan quarterback Jack Warner was 22-26 for 283 yards and five touchdowns connecting with five different receivers for scores.  Reese Sobol led the Titans in rushing with 74 yards on 14 carries.
          Nicco Stepina was 12-20-2 for Millikin for 103 yards.
          Treyvon Hawkins led Millikin with 12 tackles.  Danny Beresky had an interception for the Big Blue.
          Millikin is now 1-4, 0-2 while Illinois Wesleyan goes to 5-0, 2-0.
          The Big Blue travel to sixth ranked Wheaton College on October 17.
