Millikin Volleyball Loses in Regular Season Finale

          The Millikin volleyball team lost its regular season finale at Wheaton College 3-0 on November 3 in Wheaton, Illinois.
          Millikin ends the regular season with a 23-12 overall record and 5-2 in the conference play.  Millikin will share the CCIW regular season title with Illinois Wesleyan and Carthage.  The Big Blue earned the number one seed and the right to host the conference tournament this weekend by defeating both Illinois Wesleyan and Carthage during the regular season.
          Wheaton won the match 25-19, 25-14, 25-23.  Erin Syversen had 13 kills and nine digs.  Cortney Bohn had 10 kills.  Emily Mihalkanin had 25 set assists for Millikin and Cassidy Kingery had a team high 13 digs.
          Wheaton's attack was led by Shelby Knowles with 16 kills.  The Thunder end the season 12-17, 3-4.
          Millikin will host the CCIW Tournament starting on Friday, Nov. 6 at 4:30 p.m. with the two seed Illinois Wesleyan facing the three seed Carthage.  Millikin will play fourth seeded Elmhurst on Friday at 7 p.m.  The championship game will be Saturday at 2 p.m.
