Millikin Tennis Splits Pair of Matches

The Millikin women's tennis team split a pair of matches at the Fairview Part Tennis Center in Decatur, Illinois on Sept. 12.
         Millikin won its morning match against Fontbonne University 9-0. Taylor Stanchin won at number one singles 6-2, 6-0 over Fontbonne's Heather Flick. Paige Bequette defeated Fontbonne's Celeste Herrmann 6-2, 6-1 at number two singles. Molly Angell swept Annie Jones 6-0, 6-0 at number three singles. Millikin's Melissa Donovan, Amber Morgan and Madeline Delano each scored singles wins.
         Millikin swept all three doubles matches 8-0.
         In the afternoon match, the Big Blue lost to CCIW opponent Wheaton College 9-0.
         Millikin is now 4-2, 0-2 on the season.
         Millikin will play at Blackburn College on Sept. 16.
