Millikin Men’s Soccer Scores Road Victory

          The Millikin men's soccer team picked up a come from behind 3-2 road victory at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois on September 16.  Millikin is now 4-1 on the season while Aurora goes to 2-3.
          Millikin took an early lead one minute into the game on a goal by sophomore Ben Spelman with the assist going to Big Blue goalie Daniel Sinclair.
          Aurora tied the game in the 38th minute on a goal by Fabian Acosta.  The Spartans would go up 2-1 at the 56:55 mark on a goal by Collin Forman.
          Millikin tied the game in the 76th minute on a goal by Zach Solorio on an assist from Hunter Somers.  Two minutes later, Millikin would take the lead for good with Solorio scoring the game winner off another Somers assist.
          After playing its last four games on the road, Millikin will return home Saturday, September 19 at 7 p.m. to host Principia College at Frank M. Lindsay Field.
