Big Blue Men’s Soccer Improves to 5-1

         The Millikin men's soccer team scored a 2-0 win over Principia College on September 19 at Frank M. Lindsay field in Decatur, Illinois.  Millikin is now 5-1 on the season while Principia goes to 0-5.
         Millikin scored two goals in the first period to take control of the game.  Tucker Mathieson scored off an long pass from Hunter Somers to make it 1-0 Big Blue in the 18th minute.  Four minutes later, Zach Solorio scored Millikin second goal to make it 2-0.  Credit Ben Spelman and Mathieson with the assist.
         Millikin senior Daniel Sinclair earned the shutout in game recording six saves.
         Millikin will host Webster University on Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
