Millikin Volleyball Wins Twice

          The Millikin volleyball team won two games at its own Fall Frenzy on Friday, Sept. 18 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
          Millikin handled Webster University 3-0 winning 25-9, 25-22 and 25-20.  Millikin had a balanced attack with Erin Syversen leading the way with 13 kills, Emily Seegmiller adding 10 and Kelsey Talkington recording eight.  Talkington had four aces and four blocks as well.  Seegmiller also had four blocks on the evening.  Cassidy Kingery had 14 digs and Emily Mihalkanin had 36 set assists.
          In its second game of the night, the Big Blue defeated Westminster College 3-0 winning 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.  Syversen had 17 kills, seven digs and three aces.  Seegmiller had eight kills and a block while Talkington had six kills along with two blocks.  Mihalkanin had 37 set assists.
          Millikin will be back in action on Saturday, September 19 at 10 a.m. hosting Rose-Hulman and then again at 3 p.m. against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
