Big Blue Women’s Soccer Drops Opener

          The Millikin women's soccer team dropped its season opener 2-1 on September 1 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.  The game had two lengthy lightning delays and lasted for four hours.
          Millikin opened the scoring in the sixth minute on a goal from Courtney Olson after assists by Angela Pulice and Jenna Eaker.
          Westminster answered back with two second half goals by Ashley Schimmel and Morgan Henry to secure the win.
          Millikin will host Monmouth College on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. and Lindsay Field.
