Millikin Men’s Soccer Wins Fifth Straight

          The Millikin men's soccer team won its fifth straight game defeating Fontbonne University 2-1 on September 29 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.  Millikin is now 8-1 on the season while Fontbonne goes to 2-7.
          After a scoreless first period, Fontbonne opened the scoring on a goal by Ryan Dudley.
          Millikin would answer back one minute later when Ben Spelman scored on an assist from Matt Briars.  The Big Blue would score the game winner at the 70:59 mark when Nick Abel scored with an assist to Tucker Mathieson and Tukunda Jakachira.
          Earlier today Millikin moved up to seventh in the Central Region in the most recent NSCAA regional rankings.
          Millikin will open CCIW play on Saturday, October hosting North Park at 2:30 p.m. The game is part of Millikin's 100th Homecoming celebration.
