Big Blue Women’s Soccer Falls in Overtime

          The Millikin women's soccer team lost to Fontbonne University 2-1 in overtime on September 29 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          Fontbonne opened a 1-0 advantage at the six minute mark on a goal by Hannah Andrzejewski.
          Millikin would tie the game in the 65th minute on a goal from Emily Sanders on a put back of a shot by Nicole McKevitt that bounced off the crossbar.
          Fontbonne's Natalie Sipole scored the game winner in overtime on a shot from 30 yards out.
          Millikin is now 4-5 while Fontbonne goes to 5-5.
          Millikin will open conference play on Oct. 3 at 12:30 p.m. when they host North Park University.  The game will be a part of Millikin's 100th Homecoming Celebration.
