Millikin Women’s Tennis Downs Illinois College

  The Millikin women's tennis team defeated Illinois College 9-0 on September 29 at the Fairview Tennis Center in Decatur, Illinois.
          Taylor Stanchin won at number one singles for Millikin defeating Tamar Norville 6-3, 3-6, 10-3. Paige Bequette and Molly Angell won their matches 6-0, 6-0. Millikin's Melissa Donovan won at number four singles 6-1, 6-1 and Amber Morgan was victorious at number five singles for Millikin 6-0, 6-0.
          In doubles play, Angell and Donovan defeated Norville and Lisa Noggle 8-3 and the Big Blue's Madeline Delano and Bequette downed Jovanna Chavez and Brianna Pohlman 8-0.
          Millikin improves to 6-4 while Illinois College goes to 2-8.
