Millikin Men Lose to Titans

          The Millikin men's basketball team lost to Illinois Wesleyan University 73-51 on January 13 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois
          Millikin took an early six point lead at 9-3, but the Titans found its shooting touch and built a 38-29 advantage at the half.  Millikin went cold from the field and could never rally in the second half allowing the Titans to maintain a double digit lead for the final 17 minutes of the game.
          Illinois Wesleyan shot 57 percent from the field while Millikin hit only 28 percent of its shot attempts.  Illinois Wesleyan edged Millikin in rebounds 39-35.
          Millikin's top scorer was Tommy Pilackas with 16 points and five rebounds.  T.J. Griffin added 15 points.  Jack Simpson had a team high six rebounds.
          Trevor Seibring led Illinois Wesleyan with 16 points and seven rebounds.  Bryce Dolan added 13 for the Titans.
          Millikin falls to 6-9, 0-4 while Illinois Wesleyan improves to 9-6, 3-1.
          Millikin will host North Park University on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.
