Millikin Men’s Basketball Loses to #17 North Central

          The Millikin men's basketball team lost to #17 North Central College 94-60 on January 27 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
          The Cardinals opened the game with an 11-0 run and never looked back building a 41-27 advantage at the half.  North Central shot 54 percent from the field including going 9-19 (47 percent) from three point range.  Millikin was held to 34.5 percent from the field and was 3-18 (17 percent) from beyond the arc.  North Central out rebounded Millikin 36-29.
          Millikin's top scorer was T.J. Griffin was 15 points followed by T.J. Sims with 14.  Tommy Pilackas added 12 points.  Elijah Kinmon had a team high six rebounds.
          Jayme Moten and Connor Raridon led North Central each with 18 points.  Erwin Henry had 13 points and 12 rebounds.  Aiden Chang also scored 13.
          North Central improves to 14-5, 7-1 and stays tied for the first in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.  Millikin falls to 6-13, 0-8.
          The Big Blue travel to sixth ranked Elmhurst on Saturday, Jan. 30.
