Big Blue Men Lose at #6 Elmhurst

         Playing its third straight game against a nationally ranked opponent, the Millikin men's basketball team lost at sixth ranked Elmhurst College 85-56 on January 30 in Elmhurst, Illinois.
         Elmhurst shot 59 percent from the field in the game and held the Big Blue to 36.5 percent.  The Bluejays out rebounded Millikin 39-21.
         Senior T.J. Griffin led Millikin with 12 points and five assists.  Freshman Nathan Lovekamp scored 11 points going 3-3 from three-point range.  Freshman Jack Simpson added eight points.  Sophomore Zach Long had a team high six rebounds.
         Kyle Wuest led Elmhurst with 15 points and Will Nixon added 13.
         Elmhurst improves to 17-3, 5-2 while Millikin falls to 6-14, 0-9.
         Millikin will travel to Illinois Wesleyan University on February 3 at 7 p.m.
