Millikin Men Suffer Road Loss

          The Millikin men's basketball team lost at North Central College 83-54 in Naperville, Illinois on January 6.
          North Central led 33-26 at the half before pulling away early in the second period.  The Cardinals shot 56 percent from the field including 72 percent in the second half.  North Central shot 43 percent from three point range including going 12-28 (43 percent) in the second half.  Millikin hit 40 percent from the field.  The Big Blue won the rebounding battle 32-30. 
          Millikin's top scorer was TJ Sims with 16 points.  Jack Simpson and Bryn Agnew each added eight points.  Simpson had a team high six rebounds.
          North Central had five players in double figures led by Erwin Henry with 20 points and Alex Sorenson with 17.
          Millikin falls to 6-7, 0-2 while North Central improves to 9-4, 2-0.
          The Big Blue return home on Saturday, Jan. 9 hosting fifth ranked Elmhurst College at 7 p.m.
