Big Blue Women’s Basketball Loses to Wheaton

          The Millikin women's basketball team lost at #23 Wheaton College 73-34 on February 10 in Wheaton, Illinois.
          The game was all Thunder with Wheaton leading 24-6 after the first quarter and 37-14 at halftime.
          Millikin struggled through a night of turnovers and cold shooting.  The Big Blue committed 26 turnovers and shot 28 percent from the field.  Wheaton connected on 41 percent from the field and out rebounded Millikin 39-32.
          Millikin's top scorer was Emily Schultz with 11 points.
          Wheaton got 20 points from Katie McDaniel and 14 points and nine rebounds from Hannah Considine.
          Wheaton is now 17-5, 9-3 while Millikin falls to 7-16, 0-12.
          Millikin will play its final two games of the season at home starting on February 13 when they host Augustana College at 5 p.m.
