Mililkin Baseball Loses at Greenville

         The Millikin baseball team suffered its first loss of the season falling 13-3 at Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois on March 8.  The Big Blue are now 2-1 while the Panthers go to 2-7.
         Millikin jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the top of the fourth, but Greenville answered in the bottom of the inning scoring 10 runs.
         The Big Blue's three runs came on a three run homer by Jake Stanton.  Millikin was limited to four hits in the game with shortstop Seth Coffey going 2-3.  Kaleb Krigbaum had Millikin's other base hit.
         Trevor Montgomery, Shane Olmsted and Dathan Bearing each had three hits for the Panthers.
         Millikin will travel to the University of the Ozarks for a three game weekend series on March 12-13.
