Millikin Baseball Loses at North Central

         The Millikin baseball team lost at North Central College 6-1 at Zimmerman Stadium in Naperville, Illinois on April 13.
         North Central opened the scoring with a run in the second inning.  The Cardinals added three runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and one in the eighth.  The Big Blue lone run came in the eighth.
         Michael Guddendorf was 3-3 for the Big Blue while Seth Coffey went 2-4.  Kaleb Krigbaum picked up the Millikin RBI with a groundout.
         Michael Mateja, Nick Sotiros and Matt Sutherland each had two hits for North Central.  Mateja and Dan Sotiros each had two RBIs.  Andrew Houser was the winning pitcher for the Cardinals throwing nine innings allow seven hits and one earned run.
         Millikin is now 13-10, 2-7 while North Central improves to 17-4, 6-3.
         The Big Blue will travel to North Park for a doubleheader on April 16.
