Millikin Baseball Falls at North Park

         The Millikin baseball team lost at North Park University 18-8 in eight innings on April 17 in Chicago.
         The Big Blue led for much of the game before things went bad in the late innings.  Millikin jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two run home run by Julian Guttierrez.  Millikin lead 3-0 after three innings.  North Park rallied to tie the game in the fourth, but the Big Blue answered back and led 8-4 in the middle of the seventh inning.  North Park scored five runs in the seventh and nine in the eighth.  Millikin's pitching had no answered for the Viking hitters with five pitchers combining to allow 22 hits.
         Luke Azzarelli had two hits and two RBIs for Millikin.  Adam Peters had two hits and one run batted in.
         Culluer Gibertson led North Park's attack going 5-5 with three RBIs and four runs scored.  Anthony Bragg was 4-5.  Ray Cekus and Mitchell Jordan each had three hits.
         Millikin falls to 14-12, 3-9 while the Vikings improve to 11-18, 4-8.
         Millikin will travel to Washington University in St. Louis for a non-conference game on April 19.  The Big Blue
