Big Blue Women’s Tennis Drops Pair of Matches

The Millikin women's tennis team dropped a pair of home matches on Saturday, October 7.
The Big Blue lost to Carroll University 6-3. Kelly Ruane (Mokena, Providence Catholic H.S.) scored Millikin's lone singles point with a 7-5, 6-0 win. Kelly and sister Maggie Ruane won at number two doubles 8-2. Morgan Bettner (Brownsburg, Ind., H.S.) and Madeline Delano (Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove H.S.) won at number three doubles 8-2.
Millikin fell to Carthage 7-2. Kelly Ruane won at number five singles 4-6, 6-2, 11-9. Bettner and Delano won at number three doubles 8-6.
