#12 Big Blue Volleyball Downs Augustana

          The 12th ranked Millikin volleyball team remained in first place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin with a 3-0 win over Augustana College on October 20 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.  The Big Blue are now 22-6, 6-0 while Augustana goes to 11-14, 2-5.
          Millikin won 25-17, 25-19, 25-14 on Senior Night celebrating the contributions of seniors Meredith Artime, Alora Goodey, Emily Mihalkanin and Erin Syversen. 
          Syversen led the Millikin attack with 16 kills followed by junior Emily Seegmiller with 10.  Goodey had seven kills and a team high four blocks.  Mihalkanin had 33 set assists, seven digs and one service ace.  Artime had a team high 14 digs.
          Millikin will host Elmhurst College on Tuesday, October 24 at 7 p.m.  The Bluejays are currently 5-1 in conference play.
