Millikin Women’s Basketball Loses at Illinois Wesleyan

          The Millikin women's basketball team lost at Illinois Wesleyan 70-58 in the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois on February 1.
          Illinois Wesleyan led 34-30 at the half and started the third quarter on a 12-4 run to pull away.  The Titans ended the third quarter up 50-38.  Millikin played the Titans even in the fourth quarter, but couldn't overcome the 12 point deficit.
          Illinois Wesleyan shot 41 percent from the field, but struggled from three-point range hitting only 3-20 (15 percent).  Millikin hit on 39 percent from the field and made 4-14 (29 percent) from three point range.  Illinois Wesleyan won the rebounding battle 42-34 and forced Millikin into 18 turnovers while committing 12.
          Emily Schultz led Millikin in scoring and rebounding with 17 points and eight rebounds.  Devin Curry had 15 points and six rebounds.
          Molly McGraw led the Titans with 18 points with Ashley Schneider adding 13.
          The Titans are now 13-6, 8-2 while Millikin goes to 9-11, 3-8.
          Millikin will travel to Augustana on Feb. 4.
