Big Blue Baseball Wins in Ozarks

         The Millikin baseball team defeated the University of Ozarks 9-2 on February 19 in Clarksville, Arkansas.  The Big Blue opened today's action winning the completion of Saturday's suspended game 4-3 in 10 innings.  Millikin goes 2-1 in its first series of the season.
         Junior transfer Jake Drada supplied much of the offense for the Big Blue going 2-5 with two homeruns and five RBIs.  Drada had a two run homer in the Millikin first inning and added a three run blast in the seventh. 
         Mason Bruce went 3-4 for Millikin with two runs scored.  Seth Coffey was 2-3 with a double and two RBIs.  Devin Crews had a run scoring single.
         Max Paolicchi earned the win in relief throwing six innings allowing two hits and one run while striking out three.  Starter Logan Talkington pitched three innings allowing two hits and one run.
         Millikin will play a doubleheader at Bethel College on February 25.
