Millikin Men Lose to #20 Augustana

         The Millikin men's basketball team lost to conference leading and 20th ranked Augustana College 75-39 on February 4, 2017 in Rock Island, Illinois.
         Millikin struggled from the field hitting only 26 percent from the field while the Vikings connected on 51 percent of its shots.  Augustana won the rebounding battle 44-30.
         Freshman Jordan Cunningham led Millikin with 11 points and five rebounds.  Tyler Pygon added eight points and six rebounds.
         Chrishawn Orange and Brett Benning led the Vikings with 12 points each.
         Millikin was without two starters for the game with junior Chase Smith and sophomore Jack Simpson both missing the action due to injury.
         Augustana improves to 17-4, 10-2 while Millikin falls to 3-18, 1-11.
         Millikin will host Wheaton College on Wednesday, February 8 starting at 7 p.m.
