Millikin Baseball Loses at North Park

         The Millikin baseball team lost at North Park University 7-6 on April 19 in Chicago, Illinois.  After winning two games against the Vikings on April 15, the Big Blue two out of three in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) series.
         Millikin let leads slip away on three different occasions in the game.  The Big Blue jumped out to a 2-0 advantage in the top of the first.  After two innings, the Vikings had tied the game at 2-2.  Millikin would pull ahead 3-2 with a run in the fourth, but the Vikings tied the game with a run in the fifth.  North Park took its first lead of the game with a two run sixth.  The Big Blue rallied with three runs in the eighth inning, but again the Vikings answered back with two runs in the bottom of the inning to pull out the victory.
         Devin Crews continued his hot hitting for the Big Blue going 4-5 with two RBIs.  Crews had 11 hits in the series.  Mason Bruce, Jake Drada and Anthony Bryan each had two hits for Millikin with Drada and Bryan each collecting an RBI.
         Anthony Bragg led the Vikings attack going 4-4.  Jared Cantu was 2-4.
         Millikin goes to 15-13, 4-10 while the Vikings improves to 11-19, 4-10.
         Millikin travels to Elmhurst College for a doubleheader on April 22 and then plays at North Central for a twin bill on April 23.
