Millikin Baseball Loses at Carthage

         The Millikin baseball team lost the final game of its weekend series at Carthage College falling 14-2 on April 9 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
         Jordan Wiegold led the Carthage attack going 3-3 with four runs scored and five RBIs.  Zach Wade went 2-4 with three RBIs.  Kevin Tibor was the winning pitcher holding Millikin to two runs over seven innings.
         Millikin scored a single run in the third inning.  Keith Askins singled and went to third on a double from Seth Coffey.  Devin Crews drove home Askins with a base hit.
         Millikin's other run came in the sixth.  Luke McConnell singled home Julian Gutierrez who had reached on a double.
         Millikin is now 13-9, 2-6 while Carthage goes to 12-9, 5-3.
         Millikin will host Elmhurst College on Tuesday, April 11 at 6 p.m.
