Millikin Tennis Downs Bluejays

The Millikin women's tennis team downed Elmhurst College 5-4 on September 10 at the Fairview Tennis Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         The Big Blue picked up three wins in singles action with Maggie Ruane winning at number three singles 6-2, 6-0. Millikin freshmen won at number five and singles with Danielle Beard winning 6-4, 6-0 and Katie Cooper winning 6-2, 6-1.
         Millikin picked up wins in number two and three doubles with Maggie Ruane and Kelly Ruane winning 8-6 and Beard and Morgan Bettner winning 8-3.
         Millikin is now 4-3, 1-2 while Elmhurst goes to 1-1, 1-1.
